Sales Engineer Wanted

Position: Sales Engineer (Full Time)

Job Summary

EOTIoT is a one-stop online shop supplying various IoT and industrial automation products. We pride ourselves on our company culture and the relationships we have built with customers around the world. As such, we are currently looking for several qualified sales engineers (technically proficient) to assist in selling technical products and after-sales services, as well as helping to establish relationships with new and existing customers. This position is suitable for individuals with technical knowledge and sales skills. Sales engineers act as a liaison during the sales process when it comes to complex technical equipment or services, and they should meet or even exceed sales targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identifying potential new customers who could benefit from EOTIoT products.
  • Negotiating with current and potential customers to evaluate and understand equipment needs and system requirements, and conveying customer needs to the product management team.
  • Using technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers the practicality of the product or service and how it is more suitable for the customer than competing products. Providing expertise and support to the sales team to communicate products, services, and customer needs.
  • Negotiating and completing sales by agreeing on terms and conditions.
  • Providing after-sales support services and ensuring customer needs are met, which may include product modifications and proposing improved materials or products to customers and explaining the benefits of the changes.
  • Supporting customers and resolving their issues.
  • Preparing product orders and arranging delivery.
  • Providing appropriate feedback.
  • Performing other duties as specified.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding sales and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical products to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent presentation skills, capable of applying engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Good judgment and business acumen.
  • Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work in a high-pressure sales environment and multitask.

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in automation engineering or a field related to product sales is preferred.
  • Requires more than five years of experience in the sales or after-sales service of automation and IoT products.
